Gender equality for all

It is known that women never had a chance to do anything and everything, just because they are female. they were refered as the weaker sex, while the males can be the leader of the pack, and they can do anything within their reach. But here’s the thing: men also tend to be agressive and abusive, especially to the females. I am thankful that I am now in the generation wherein females are given the right to dominate, to lead… Read More »Gender equality for all

EDSA days: then and now

I wasn’t even born yet when Senator Ninoy Aquino was assassinated. I was only a mere toddler when EDSA Revolution happened in our country. I remember Mom’s stories during EDSA revolution, she always tell my older sister to pack her bags as the tora-tora are now flying, and the military tanks are everywhere. How I wish she has camera at that time so she could take pictures, but she might be mistaken as an anti-Marcos if she did that lol!… Read More »EDSA days: then and now

My choice for president

We may have six official choices, but I only have two choices for this coming elections – Mar Roxas and Miriam Defensor Santiago. They have proven themselves worthy of running for the highest post in the country – they have great skills, qualifications, expetise, wit and charm. I may be considering the feisty senator MDS, but before you CTRL+W, here are my reasons why I’m also considering Mar Roxas. I took a “self-imposed holiday hiatus” to everything (work, blogging, house chores lol!) and it was the best decisions that I ever made. Being reconnected with friends and loved ones are the… Read More »I am ready, 2016

Challenges and new chapter

While I’m on a 1-week break, my brother was rushed to the hospital for appendicitis. it was the worst thing that ever happened to us, I just got out of the office, my sister’s just preparing for her finals at the law school and we’re running out of funds. I’m late for a couple of hours on my blogging commitments, and I’ve no time for my backlogs. I gave my life savings for him, but that is only… Read More »Challenges and new chapter

Moving on…

It is the process of moving on and growing up that makes one look forward to the more brighter future and not to look back to that horrid past. Glad that there are people supporting me, understands me and loving me for being there always, and for being my rock during the darkest times. Now I’m ready. It may be one of the hardest decisions in life, but I need to do this. For it is the most important thing… Read More »Moving on…

Salute to the fallen heroes

Heroes were supposed to be recognized by the job well done, that their chosen profession has put their lives at stake for the sake of our country. I was saddened and disappointed by what the President did. Schedules may need to be followed, but in times like this, we need to weigh down what’s really important: to salute those who offered their lives in order to serve the country, or to drop by to the inauguration of a certain automobile… Read More »Salute to the fallen heroes
