When online games have helped me during quarantine

Granted that playing games on my mobile phone and on my desktop is my way to escape from boredom and whenever I am stuck at work (programmer woes), especially now that we are STILL under strict quarantine. Ever since, playing games has helped me to be more analytical and to be competitive, and more importantly, to just be chill, thus helping me to combat depression and anxiety from this lockdown. I don’t need additional stress from work, and doing this in my free time has helped me with that.

I’ve been playing games since the time when we first got an Atari, then a SNES and a Gameboy console, and right now I am currently enjoying the convenience of playing games on my mobile phone and on my laptop, and apart from what is now on Google Play and Steam, I found another alternative in Plays.org. Glad that they have a wide array of games that has to offer for everyone.

So what do I like about the games that are currently on Games.org? most of the games that I played using the platform are based on the 64-bit games that I played during my childhood, and I also like the fact that they have so much to offer and more.

Games at plays.org can be played on my laptop and on my mobile using my mobile browser (I used chrome as my mobile browser) and since most of the games were based on my old-time favorites, everything is easy to play, talk about convenience without downloading any of the games via steam and/or tru Google play (for android users).

So what are the games that I tried? The sorcerer game is based on the cult-fave Zuma Deluxe:

The Super Tetris game is of course fame from our ever-loved Tetris game, and I like the fact that this can be played conveniently using desktop and on mobile.

You can choose where to play
Super tetris on mobile!

Anyone here who’s a fan of Pac-man? Here’s Pac-rat as a cute alternative!

I really enjoyed playing games here, and here are more reasons to love the platform:

  • There’s no more need to create an account and to login using email and/or on social media accounts.
  • There are so many games to choose from – perfect for those who are into puzzles, adventures, RPGs, and many more.
  • No ads! I personally do not like the pop-ups and the unexpected redirects to any page and/or to any annoying apps.

So far, I enjoy the platform, the nostalgia from some of the games that are included in the platform and the convenience of playing them in my machines during my free time. A timely pace I’d say for I’ve been stuck in the house for so long that I need an escape (and a much-needed break from work!) now who’s with me? 😀
