Delicious and beautifully crafted Thai Dishes at Just Thai

what I love about Thai food is the abundance of flavors that are packed in their line of dishes. During our food tasting event at Just Thai in Burgos Circle, not only did we fell in love (once more) with their dishes, we also love how they present their dishes with care.

I missed their Tom Yum, huhuhu T_T

Because of the drastic rains and floods in Ayala, I arrived an hour late (my bad! Grr) and missed their appetizers and their soup. I was actually looking forward to have a taste of their Tom Yum, and I heard from my fellow bloggers that it reminds them of our own sinigang, only a bit spicy to their liking. I was recovering from a fever, and having a bowl of soup is something that I need (at least for me).

But good thing that I never missed their main dishes, and here they are:

The delectable chicken with cashews (forgot the name and the price), the chicken is succulent and the cashew adds crunch to the dish.

This shrimp dish (I also forgot the name, my bad) is one of my favorites! this dish alone will make me wanna come back here… but wait there’s more! 😛

Gaeng Leuang (Vegetables and Tofu in Yellow Curry; Php 260) – this is not your typical veggie dish; a bit spicy for me but it’s delicious!

Bagoong Rice, before it was being mixed

Bagoong Rice Khao Krok Kapi (Php 250) – a great alternative to the usual white/brown rice; the mangoes complement the bagoong (shrimp/fish paste) with dried shrimp and it has a distinct flavor. I think I had a couple of servings on this one.

I had high expectations on their Pad Thai (Php 280) but the dish didn’t stand out for me. How I wish it’ll be more flavorful and they’ll minimize the sprouts added to this dish. (not a fan)

However, their Gai Ob Bai Toey (Pandan wrapped-chicken; Php 290) are okay as well. I like the fact that the chicken is evenly cooked while wrapped in pandan leaves, and there are available sauces to choose from.

I like the fact that their Bplah Pla Muek Kratiem (Squid with Garlic and Pepper; Php 300) is so delicious and the squid is cooked to perfection, this is really good.

Their Pla Rad Prik (Crispy Fresh Tilapia Fillet; Php 430) is such a standout for me. I love tilapia, and I fell in love with the sight of this dish. The tilapia is deliciously crafted not just to please us but also to satisfy our tastebuds,

Another dish that I tried is the Pad Kapron Talay (Mixed seafood in basil; Php 280). yummy yum yum!

Something that blows my mind is this tall glass of Tamarind Juice, I find it overwhelming yet delicious, yet I craved for more after I had one.

Thai meals are never complete without a dessert! Here are some of their latest offerings:

Tha Kho (Coconut pudding wrapped in pandan leaves; Php 140) – what I love about this is the fact that it has a sweet yet balanced feel after I had a bite. Reminds me of Maja Blanca, but is made of coconut milk.

The Khao Niaow Ma Muang (Mango slices over sticky rice in coconut sauce; Php 260) is something that I don’t wanna ruin as it served in front of me; the mangoes in top of the sticky rice is well crafted that it resembles of a rose, it’s so beautiful to look at and it was so so good.

This hearty meal is best concluded with a hearty serving of hot tea.

Just Thai’s branch in BGC is a bit small but cozy, and their interiors are something that I also liked in this place. And as for their dishes, everything is so delicious and is good for 3-4 persons. Food’s a bit pricey (for me) but since the dishes can be shared, I think it’s worth spending.

Just Thai is located at the Burgos Circle in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig and in Molito Commercial Complex in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
