2015 marks the 30th year of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). To kick off the celebration of its anniversary, MTRCB formally launched its new infomercial on 23 February 2015 at 2:00 p.m., MTRCB Building. Directed by renowned film and television director Jose Javier “Joey” Reyes, Jr., DGPI and conceptualized by Mr. Erlito “Lilit” Reyes, the infomercial features actors-spouses Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo in a typical morning situation at home. In such scene, their depicted child picks up a word from a TV feature and asks the elders in the house what it means.
The infomercial aims to challenge parents and responsible adults to be aware of the media content our children are exposed to, and to be mindful of the MTRCB’s classification ratings. Parents are also reminded that the primary duty in guiding their children as to the media the latter see still rests in them.
Details of the infomercial were discussed by Director Joey Reyes, Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo, Lilit Reyes and MTRCB Board Members Bibeth Orteza and Manet Dayrit, the latter being Co-Chairpersons of the Infomercial Committee.
The launch was culminated by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the TV Networks and theater operators to ensure showing of the infomercial and to continuously empower the general public towards discerning viewership and thus, among other objectives, inform parents as to the media and entertainment their children may see.
The infomercial will be aired in all television networks and theaters nationwide starting 25 February 2015.
What makes a peaceful condominium living? To live in a friendly community with a serene environment is something that I am looking for, just like living in a gated subdivisions and exclusive residences where one can live in peace and comfort.
This is a far cry from the usual high-rise condominium building that are sprouting within the city premises. Yes the buildings are accessible to most business areas, but everything is expensive, and it’s it’s not the type of family home that I am looking for.
A week ago, I was one of the media people invited at the Lancris Residences – a low-rise condominium residence that is situated in one of the exclusive subdivisions in Better Living, Paranaque City, just minutes away from Makati city, Bonifacio Global City, Pasay City and Manila airports.
You might think of so many questions why it is located in the middle of the residential subdivision in the south of Manila (well I did!) but after we take a look at the place itself, now I know why.
Lancris Residences is a low-rise, 7-story residential condominium that is owned and created by Land Cris Somerset Development Corporation, a sister company of Duraville Realty & Development Corp and Durawood Construction & Lumber Supply Corp.Duraville and Durawood is known for construction and quality housing development, with ongoing projects that is situated in Pasig, Antipolo, Imus, and Bulacan.
Lancris Residences offers four residential condominiums namely: Diamond, Garnet, Sapphire and Emerald. The Diamond Tower is now ready for occupancy by the end of February, while the other towers are yet to to be completed in the next few years.
Their 2-bedroom unit is comfortable yet spacious, and it offers a quiet view of the Better Living subdivision that makes one relaxed and secure. Each unit is semi-furnished – they used imported vinyl tiles for flooring, elegant ceramic tiles for the bathroom, granite counter top for the kitchen, modular kitchen cabinet, premium three-coat paint finish and hi-speed FIBR Optic Cable for utilities.
The unit is also ready for partitions (according to the unit owners’ needs), and it also includes an overhead cabinet, induction cooker, washing machine cabinet and shower enclosure.
To ensure the residents’ security within the area, Lancris is equipped with 24/7 security, CCTV cameras on all entry and exit areas and guards will be on rounds within the area. Pets also allowed in the units and facilities, provided that the unit owners needs to follow the rules in cleanliness within the community premises.
Lancris residents will definitely enjoy these listed amenities that will definitely be enjoyed for every unit owner, and here they are!
25M Lap Pool
Basketball Court / Playcourt
Locker Room & Shower Area
Gazebo / Cabana
Main Entrance Gate
While most of listed amenities are under construction, we were given a chance to take a peek at their sky garden.

The sky garden is a great place to relax and unwind. Everything looks beautiful! We all enjoyed the view of the peaceful subdivision right below with trees and lush environment that is giving to us. Aside from this view, the Sky Garden is perfect for dates and movie nights, and yes we all enjoyed the cool breeze and the night sky while watching Big Hero 6, way to go Baymax!
Indeed, Lancris Residences is a great place for a peaceful and comfortable condo living. Everything is here, with amenities that will surely enjoy for everyone. And didn’t I etll you that their 2-bedroom unit is the most affordable that I’ver ever seen? 🙂

Once upon a time, there’s this blogger who loves to eat. She Posts her solo reviews, and her foodie adventures with her friends on this very blog, until she meets her match.
Her so-called “LeBoyf”, who is courageous enough to handle all her childish craziness, happens to love food and loves her. (yii! ang bakla amp!) the two also introduced themselves here on this very blog, and they decided to create a joint blog about their foodie misadventures and many more.
Had to admit that the blog is still a work in progress, but their blog is slowly having improvements. She’s in charge with the social media and SEO, while the LeBoyf is taking care on the site design and updates.

Experience extreme adventure and extreme relaxation at Tree Top Adventure Baguio, the only motorized zipline in the Philippines and the only Team Building facility in Baguio. With seven outdoor activities and team building facilities, located within Camp John Hay, surrounded by pine trees and overlooking breathtaking views, Tree Top Adventure Baguio offers an adventure of a lifetime.
For the thrill seekers who want to experience extreme adventure, you might want to experience our Tree Drop in which you’ll be suspended 60 feet above the ground, mission impossible style and you’ll be falling as fast as 2 to 3 seconds. This Tree Top’s most extreme activity costs Php 150.00 only and this is one way to really quench your thirst for adrenaline rush. You might also want to try our rides done in pairs: the Superman Ride and Silver Surfer. As the name implies, you’ll be ziplining, Superman Style, 200 meters long, 150 feet above the ground, but instead of doing it just forwards, you would also be ziplining backwards. Silver Surfer is a 60 degree diagonal motorized zipline in which you’ll be standing on a specialized platform and you’ll be gliding up and down for three cycles. Expect that there would be stops and swings for every cycle. For Php 300.00 and Php 200.00 respectively, you could experience what superheroes feel as they fly and glide through the air.
For those who want to experience extreme relaxation, you could try the Canopy and Funicular ride which costs Php350.00. The Canopy is similar to the concept of cable cars, but instead, you’ll be seated on cable chairs in which you’ll be transferring from one station to another until you complete all eight stations. When you reach the station four of the Canopy, you would walk for around 2 to 3 minutes to be able to reach the connecting ride of Canopy which is the Funicular ride. This ride is similar to the concept of elevator, but, instead of standing up, you’ll be seated. This is at least a way for you to conquer your fear of heights. But, if you really have extreme fear of heights, you could just avail the Trekking and Skywalk in which you would walk around Tree Top’s area and go up the skywalk area, or the viewing deck in which you could see the mountains of Itogon, Benguet or what they call the old Baguio before. You could stay at the Skywalk areas long as you want to take pictures and feel the cold breeze.
If your company plans to have a convention or seminar at Baguio, you might want to experience our Team Building Activities which includes two high element activities (Tree Drop and Silver Surfer), five low element activities, boodle lunch and facilitators for just Php 800.00 per head only. The activities would really challenge each member and how they work with their workmates.
